In August 2022, through the international bidding of Pakistan's Sindh Solid Waste Management Committee, Endurance Environmental Industry Group Co., Ltd., Chongqing Endurance Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., Chongqing Endurance-ShinMaywa Industrial Co., Ltd. won the joint bid for the project of "Construction of primary and secondary solid waste collection system and provision of related operational services in Sukkur, Pakistan (the jurisdiction of Sukkur Municipal Corporation, including the jurisdiction of Rory Municipal Council, Sindh Province, Pakistan)".It is understood that the project is the first transnational sanitation operation project of Chongqing Endurance Industry, the service cycle is ten years and seven months, and the service form is based on "door to door" collection and storage of garbage, construction of collection and transportation system, supplemented by urban cleaning.

On January 26, 2023, the two sides officially signed the contract, and in March 2023, Chongqing Endurance Industry officially launched the project trial operation.After the smooth customs clearance of the past vehicle equipment from China Shipping, on August 8, 2023, the second phase of the Sukkur project in Pakistan was officially held, which marks the formal opening of a new chapter in the comprehensive management of the project.Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, minister of Municipal Affairs of Sindh, Arslan Islam Shaikh, mayor of Sukkur, and Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah, chairman of Solid Waste committee of Sindh, attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Sukkur Project.At the ceremony, representatives of Chongqing Endurance Industry presented a model of Chongqing Endurance Industry new sanitation sweeper to the minister of Municipal Affairs and the mayor of Sukkur, and the Mayor of Sukkur, Arslan Islam Shaikh, listened in detail to a presentation by Endurance colleagues on the advanced garbage collection and transportation equipment used in the project, and highly praised it.

It is understood that this project follows the direct transportation mode of newly built hook arm garbage bins across the entire area to improve the efficiency of garbage collection and ensure that the garbage is collected in a closed manner throughout the entire process, without spillage or falling.In the process of project implementation, Endurance colleagues will appropriately add standard garbage bins to facilitate residents to put domestic garbage.After the garbage and cleaning waste in the garbage bin are collected, Endurance colleagues will transport them to the garbage collection station through fuel powered garbage collection vehicles, and then directly send them to the landfill through bucket type garbage compression vehicles.In addition, in accordance with the relevant standards of Sindh Province and Pakistan, Chongqing Endurance Industry will also organize employees to fulfill various responsibilities, comprehensively strengthen collection and transportation operations, ensure timely cleaning and transportation of household waste, and establish a long-term environmental sanitation management mechanism to ensure local environmental sanitation is revitalized.

It is understood that Sukkur City in Pakistan is part of Sindh Province and is the largest city in the northern part of Sindh Province. It is also the third largest city in Sindh Province and the 14th largest city in Pakistan.Sukkur City is approximately 475 kilometers away from Karachi, the capital of Sindh Province, and currently has a population of approximately 680,000 people.The comprehensive operation of this project will greatly improve the hygiene and environmental conditions in Sukkur City, Pakistan.In addition to benefiting the local economic development, improving the living environment of citizens within the service scope, and improving the living and health standards of residents, the project will also bring about employment opportunities for about 700 people, as well as enhancing the collection, transportation, and treatment capacity of domestic waste in the Sukkur region, protecting the local environment and restoring the local ecology, and many other benefits.In addition, the implementation of this project will vigorously promote the urban environment construction in Sukkur, contribute to the grand project of the national "One Belt and One Road", and write a new chapter for coordinated economic development and strengthening China-Pakistan friendship.
